The Roman city of Valeria Cuenca yesterday presented its innovative interpretive proposal with the inauguration of new information panels and an exhibition of watercolors and drawings that show the current inhabitants of this town in Cuenca.
The first day of the Roman days ' A Valeria Condita ' was the setting chosen for the presentation of the new interpretive panels of this emblematic Roman city. A work carried out within the framework of the Interpretative Site Planning Project PIVAL directed by CXB Directory UCLM professor Luisa Abad and carried out through the financing agreement for research projects between the Provincial Council of Cuenca and the University of Castilla -The Mancha.

The visit to the Roman city will be carried out with the company of eight characters from the history of the Roman city such as the Proconsul Gaius Valerius Flaccus or the rich Aelia Tranquilla . Some characters also inspired by the current inhabitants of Valeria such as Julián Torrecillas Councilor for Culture of Valeria or Mario Cortinas who has been represented as the boy Marco Valeriano in charge of welcoming the Roman city of Valeria.
